The team will discover and commercialize new opportunities for customers in our B2B segments.


We have an opening for a Senior Product Manager on our team.

You are team-oriented, energetic and a results-driven thought leader. You will be part of a team that’s focused on driving a strategy to grow and executing on that strategy working across the TELUS value-chain. Working with the 5G and IoT Director, you will support the team and partner with cross functional stakeholders to deliver on 5G and IoT initiatives.

What you’ll do in this role

  • Apply design thinking to solve customer needs and bring product concepts to life
  • Develop and implement an effective and realistic product strategy and tactics related to product introduction, product lifecycle, placement, promotion, service guidelines, partnerships and client needs.
  • Work closely with our customers, marketing, technology strategy and engineering teams to establish product roadmaps to build new and enhance existing products.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of product performance in relation to sales and marketing objectives, financial and operational performance and the competitive environment.
  • Developing, managing and optimizing end to end value chains with accountable sub-process owners; Respond to production and service delivery issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner
  • Prepare and deliver customer, training and executive presentations on your product lines
  • Use likelihood to recommend, primary and secondary market research and review of competitive landscape to recommend solutions to better support and/or reposition existing or new product.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams across all business units to manage margin, enable product/service delivery, methods to better support products, and support the delivery of integrated customer solutions through the effective influencing of stakeholders. 
  • Analyze and anticipate market, customer, regulatory, and technology trends; collaborate across the stakeholder groups to adapt products accordingly.


What you bring:

  • Strong project and process management skills, and the ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Able to develop relationships with key internal and external contacts, and ability to work within and lead teams.
  • Full understanding of the area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways and is able to develop integrated solutions with a particular understanding of IoT networks and protocols, eSIM, and security
  • Able to develop, maintain and optimize end to end value chains associated with TELUS products and services.
  • Ability to write business cases and have knowledge of financial concepts including revenue, costs, profitability and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with design thinking process
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Jira
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5-7 years of experience in product management and service development
