Position Overview:


The TELUS Secure Business team brings the power of smart technology to life, leveraging our award-winning wireless and PureFibre networks to help Canadian businesses run safer and more efficiently.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for the development and expansion of security and automation solutions for the Small & Medium Business segments. Working at the intersection of technology, business and customer experience, you’ll gather and prioritize market requirements, develop business cases, and manage multiple projects at once. You’ll get in on the ground floor of a high-profile business at TELUS and define the product strategy and customer experience for years to come. This career shaping opportunity will allow you to work with many teams across the TELUS organization including: the National Program Office, Marketing, Channel, Business Transformation, Operations, Field Technicians, Engineering and Systems teams - with both the business and consumer business units.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support, implement, and articulate product requirements and strategy to drive growth
  • Manage product roadmaps and partner with enabling teams to manage lifecycle including the introduction, optimization, and retirement of products and services
  • Provide product and delivery support to marketing, sales, operations and back office teams
  • Analyze and present product outcomes and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Drive engagement and improve reliability of existing customers
  • Key performance indicators: Revenue/ COGS/margin, customer retention/churn, customer L2R (Likelihood to Recommend)

  • You are intellectually curious, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • You are known for strong leadership, project and process management
  • You present and communicate professionally, while actively encouraging diversity of thought and collaboration 
  • You enjoy quantitative analysis and have a reputation for being a problem solver and creative thinker
  • You have a talent for maintaining high workloads, including the management of competing priorities and multiple projects at once
  • University degree, preferably in business, commerce or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in product management, project management, business, strategy or product marketing
