Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together 
 
As a Product Owner for the Home Solutions Commerce Team, you will help define best in class experiences for our customers, create digital products that make up the digital commerce experiences for Internet, TV, Home Phone, Home Security Services, Online Security and/or Consumer Health products to help simplify the lives of our customers. You will work closely with your squad that consists of UX/UI Designers, Visual Designers, Developers, Testers, Scrum Master and Business Analyst(s). 
 
By managing and prioritizing a backlog of user stories and defining the product roadmap and vision, you will drive customer value and help reduce customer effort. You’ll regularly refine and adjust your backlogs to reflect accurate scope, effort and priority while taking into account all the considerations.

Here's How

 

  • Provide the product vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders, as well as create requirements
  • Collaborate with agile teams to build and manage new features and capabilities, while delivering desired business impact
  • Define the product road-map and opportunities to create a best in class customer experience
  • Collaborate with our partners throughout the business to align roadmaps & priorities
  • Use a data driven approach to assess business value and customer value, and prioritize user stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value while ensuring alignment with product strategy
  • Ensure a customer first design approach is intact, addressing customer pain points & leveraging usability test results
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Ensure proper acceptance criteria are in place for user stories, in collaboration with the team
  • Work closely with the product team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and customer value
  • Report and present the outcomes and demonstrate the benefits of the work your team has done
  • Collaborate with other product owners and product managers to achieve common goals
  • Closely partner with Tech Lead and Architect to ensure a sound technical architecture is in place
     

 

Qualifications

  • Highly-organized with a demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume of work
  • Strong leadership and organizational transformation skill
  • Interpersonal, proactive communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery, with 3-5 years of product management/ownership of customer facing products/applications
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Experience working in a Lean and Agile environment
  • Strong Interpersonal, proactive communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate using a storytelling approach on complex concepts, as well as explaining tradeoffs
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business, - building trust and strong rapport across the business is fundamental
  • Ability to inter-operate between a technical product team and business strategists
  • Experience clo
  • sely collaborating with development teams and design teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think strategically

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Strong track record of being able to develop relationships with a multitude of stakeholders/peers
  • 2-4 years of marketing, project management, and/or digital experience
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce and related applications
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, and ambiguous environment with the ability to prioritize work and create clarity
  • A relevant certification or designation, such as CSPO, A-CSPO, CSP, PSPO, PMI-ACP or Pragmatic Certifications
