This new platform will bring convenience, automation, and peace of mind to homes across Canada. Our team focuses on designing exceptional experiences and working with technical product teams to create tailored value propositions for the Canadian market, ensuring a seamless customer journey as we introduce new products.

 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our next-generation smart home experience to life by leading the product development process across multiple scrum teams and providing clear program visibility to stakeholders. You will focus on developing our security capabilities for the TELUS SmartHome+ platform, working closely with platform, app teams, and Central Monitoring Station (CMS) teams. You will drive the integration between alarm systems, SmartHome+ features, and CMS platforms to deliver a holistic security experience for our customers. We are looking for candidates with deep knowledge and experience in the smart home and security space, particularly in professionally monitored products such as alarm systems and integration with central monitoring stations.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead the end-to-end launch of our next-generation monitored Security plans in the Canadian market, ensuring successful and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with technical product teams and CMS partners to develop and enhance in-house monitored Security plans, acquiring new customers
  • Work closely with alarm system technologies and central monitoring systems to ensure seamless integration with the SmartHome+ platform
  • Align and gain buy-in from teams across the organization, including Product, Marketing, Sales, CIO, PMO, Support, Channels, Operations, and CMS
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our customers, competitive landscape, market trends, technology, offerings, and internal strategies
  • Present plans, progress, and results to leadership teams

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Extensive experience with smart home and security products, particularly professionally monitored systems such as alarm systems and central monitoring platforms
  • Substantial experience in developing and launching monitored Security plans, supporting the growth of new security product offerings
  • Proven experience working with alarm systems and central monitoring stations from a product development perspective, ensuring smooth system integration and platform alignment
  • Expertise in project management, overseeing multiple moving parts to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building, team coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions
  • An inquisitive mindset, continually seeking ideas, innovations, and inspiration to empower your team to think bigger and bolder

 

 

Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
