Contractual management of complex vendor agreements

The Consumer Solution Delivery Partner Management team is a highly engaged, data driven, consistently successful team accountable for forming the strategy that drives value from outsourced field services and contact center services by building strategic outsourcing partnerships. On a daily basis we balance being the advocates for our customers and our external partners simultaneously.

We are looking for a self-starter Contract Manager to join our high-performing, dynamic and collaborative team.  Our team offers leadership development, direct access to multiple VP groups, and access to a broad range of business challenges and opportunities.

We spend $300M/ year on national and international partner services, supporting both TELUS’ end customers and internal TELUS clients.  Our business constantly evolves.  We need you to drive valuable and consistent business outcomes through your ability to articulate desired business outcomes and risk mitigations.

When we win, we drive bottom line value in cost saving and quality performance to TELUS through creative and sustainable partner agreements. 


Here's how 


  • You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for capturing critical insights and bringing them to life through contractual agreements; 
  • You’ll own, manage, and draft contractual commitments, from the service design and creation stage to execution;   
  • As a contracts SME, you’ll provide reporting, analysis and consulting to stakeholders on existing obligations and compliance consequences; 
  • Your ability to influence and negotiate will drive win-win outcomes and build strong partnerships; 
  • On a daily basis, you’ll partner with senior leaders from across the business, including  legal and procurement, and external partners to manage contractual relationships and obligations; 
  • You’ll prepare executive-level summary reports that support decision-making and optimize contract-related operational effectiveness; and
  • You’ll design and implement tools and processes to keep on top of all critical contract documentation.

You're the missing piece of the puzzle 


  • Your ideal profile includes:
  • Contracting Experience: 5+ years of professional contract creation and writing and experience with professional contract drafting practices;
  • Writing Aptitude:  natural ability to translate business processes, requirements, and risks into unambiguous, logical, and concise statements; 
  • Inquisitive Nature: You have a desire to understand the interworking of business processes and economic benefits commercial deals. You enjoy performing detailed analysis required to identify business risks;
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead the evolution of the contract management practice, creating new ideas to implement best practise and the experience to deliver effective change management. driving change;
  • Communication Excellence: you are comfortable seeking knowledge about technical components of services, as well as discussing legal principles and contract terms with lawyers, and presenting contract overviews at the executive level;
  • You enjoy collaborating with a broad group of stakeholders, but also enjoy working independently; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent education); Computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency). 



  • Legal or paralegal designation
  • Telecommunications or contact center industry knowledge and work experience
  • Experience working in a legal, regulatory affairs, or procurement environment  
  • MBA 
  • Proficiency in French is appreciated but not required.
