Are you passionate about driving revenue through data-driven compensation strategies? As our Manager of Sales  Data Enablement, you'll be the strategic leader who transforms how we execute multichannel compensation programs across our organization. You'll own the end-to-end enablement process, coordinating across cross-functional teams including incentive strategy, data engineering, vendor software partners, marketing, project and program management, and operations. This coordination ensures accurate, timely, and scalable compensation delivery that directly impacts business results.


In this role, you'll manage a team of subject matter experts and report directly to the Consumer PSO Director . You'll oversee compensation programs that affect millions of dollars in sales incentives annually.

 

Together, we will:

 

  • Lead and develop a high performing team of subject matter experts specializing in multichannel ordering flows and compensation impact points, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all business lines 
  • Drive strategic collaboration between compensation channel owners and vendors to deliver functional enhancements and manage reporting source changes that keep us ahead of the competition 
  • Transform sales data pipelines end-to-end, ensuring flawless data builds that power critical dashboards and downstream reporting used by executive leadership
  • Spearhead dashboard development and delivery for high-visibility compensation analytics 
  • Safeguard compensation infrastructure stability during major technical initiatives, including platform migrations (Oracle to GCP, Yellow to Green stack transitions), system upgrades, and new integrations 
  • Revolutionize root-cause analysis and investigative protocols for compensation disputes, payout discrepancies, and data anomalies across  channels 
  • Maintain mission-critical centralized logs of requirements and issues, providing transparency and cross-functional alignment that drives faster resolution
  • Partner strategically with marketing, project, and GTM teams to seamlessly support launches of new products, services, bundling strategies and commercial offerings

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, compensation management, or data analytics roles (in telecommunications or technology industry)
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills with proven ability to lead communication efforts across cross-functional teams, manage multiple resources, and own complex requirement discussions
  • Demonstrated expertise in prioritizing and managing multiple high-priority requests simultaneously in fast-paced environments
  • Hands-on experience owning, managing and updating complex requirements related to sales & value data including: updates to data sources, reporting and dashboarding, integration into compensation tools and programs 
  • Project or program management experience with measurable outcomes in sales, compensation and/or data enhancement initiatives
  • Deep compliance knowledge ensuring adherence to channel-specific compensation policies, maintaining awareness of rules and exceptions, and advocating for policy updates 
  • Working knowledge of front-end order management systems and understanding of how products and services flow through multichannel ecosystems 
  • Experience driving cross-channel alignment of compensation strategies, identifying harmonization opportunities while respecting unique business channel requirements
  • Vendor partnership management experience with ability to oversee functional enhancements and ensure accurate Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) implementation • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, Scrum Master)   
  • Experience with compensation management platforms (Commissions, Xactly, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar) 
  • Dashboard and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) • SQL or similar database query languages (preferred) 
  • Project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)

Salary Range:  $110,000-$166,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
