We are looking for you to join us as a Manager - Area Sales, to support a team of engaged and energetic Account Specialists. This is an exciting and rewarding people leadership role, encompassing complete ownership of sales targets that are achieved through solid recruiting, coaching, development and activity management. In this role, you will support the delivery of results and will be supported by a variety of highly engaged teams within the SMB team to help you and your team to achieve this goal.

Qualifications
What you bring
- As the Area Sales Manager, you will lead a high-velocity team of Account Specialists who are responsible for rapidly prospecting and closing net new SMB customers (1-100 employees) as well as growing our existing SMB customer base within your assigned segment.
- Your mission is to recruit, coach, enable, and performance manage these reps to exceed their targets through efficient, scalable sales processes optimized for shorter sales cycles and higher deal volume.
- You will also work cross-functionally to ensure collaboration with teams responsible for TELUS SMB product portfolio while developing and implementing strategies that address the unique needs, budget constraints, and decision-making processes of small to medium-sized businesses.
