As a Senior Data Engineering Consultant, you will lead the design, development, implementation and support of Master Data Management (MDM) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica MDM SaaS with proficiency in configuring MDM tools and integrating them with cloud environments. You will utilize your expertise in data engineering to design, build and maintain data pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure data quality. You will be working as part of a friendly, cross-discipline agile team who helps each other solve problems across all functions. As a custodian of customer trust, you will employ best practice in development, security, accessibility and design to achieve the highest quality of service for our customers.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain the Master Data Management development strategy in line with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards 
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve batch and real-time data pipelines for MDM systems and data projects
  • Collaborate extensively with a global technology and business team, fostering seamless integration of the master data platform within the organizational ecosystem, ensuring its scalability and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for and implement automation in the development and production process to reduce upfront hands-on work
  • Participate in requirements review sessions or attend intake assessment meetings to estimate effort for high-level solutions
  • Provide guidance on enterprise data and architecture choices across our solutions and processes
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within existing architectures. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks and ensure business continuity
  • Be a senior strategist and mentor who is sought out when it comes to analyzing and translating technicalities into business implications
  • Develop and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, assessing the effectiveness of master data initiatives, tracking progress, and identifying optimization opportunities

What you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in related field
  • Extensive experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud and comprehensive understanding of MDM concepts and industry best practices.
  • Expertise in configuring data models, match and merge rules, trust and validation
  • Hands-on experience in configuring IDQ rule sets, including data cleansing, parsing, standardization, validation, and
  • DQ exception monitoring/handling.
  • Proficiency in integrating MDM with external tools such as cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and/or ERP and CRM systems (SFDC, Workday, D365)
  • Experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its related technologies (CloudSQL, PubSub, GCS, Logging,
  • Analytics Hub, DataFlow, BigQuery, BQ SQL, Dataplex, Datastream etc.)
  • Strong skills in ETL processing, validation and complex SQL query writing and Python for data processing and automation
  • Capability to perform design and code reviews, and experience in preparing technical design documents and test plans.
  • Experience with CI/CD implementation, GitHub Actions/Workflows and managing IaC using Terraform/Pulumi
  • AAbility to work independently and in a team environment
     

Great-to-haves
 

  • Master level or equivalent
  • 8+ years of progressive and relevant work experience with Informatica MDM SaaS and GCP
  • AI/Machine learning and data science knowledge
  • Experience in the healthcare data and technology domain, specifically around supporting Private & Public Payors,
  • Providers and Employer-based programs
  • API development using Node.js and testing using Postman/SoapUI

Salary Range:  $104,000-$156,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
