Ready to redefine the future of work? As a Senior DevOps Specialist on our CIO Workplace Infrastructure team, you'll be a key innovator driving TELUS's transformation into a secure, digital-first global workforce. You will spearhead the development of cutting-edge, cloud-based zero trust and secure enterprise browser solutions that are critical to our success. Your work will directly enhance security and data loss prevention while creating a seamless, low-friction experience for our team members everywhere.

As part of the larger Team Member Experience organization at TELUS, Workplace Infrastructure is responsible for leading rapid transformation toward a digital first, secure by design and connected global workforce. The team is a key innovator and we draw on our valuable expertise to design, create and implement effective end user access systems that create low friction experiences for TELUS team members whether they are accessing modern, state of the art, cloud based web services or even older legacy systems that still fulfill important roles.

What you’ll do

  • Architect & Innovate: Drive the end-to-end development of systems for our zero trust and secure browser frameworks. You'll conceptualize and build new initiatives to meet the evolving demands of secure remote access and global productivity.
  • Build & Deploy: Write and maintain modular, repeatable Terraform code for infrastructure deployment. You'll ensure the high performance and quality of our mission-critical systems.
  • Lead & Collaborate: Act as the primary technical liaison with vendors like Google, influencing product roadmaps and resolving complex issues. You will work with product teams on release schedules and manage the entire cloud service lifecycle.
  • Secure & Integrate: Integrate solutions with various partners, applying security best practices to protect our team and data.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Strong proficiency with Terraform and JSON to manage complex cloud environments.
  • Development Skills: A solid understanding of system design, integration, development best practices, and modern source code managers like Git.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that ensure secure, reliable deployments of browser security components and microservices
  • Collaborative Mindset: You excel in cross-functional teams, with a passion for co-creating solutions, learning from others, and mentoring teammates.
