The SmartHome Security Acquisition Marketing team is a new and highly visible portfolio at TELUS. We’re a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and provide a great place to learn and grow. We are looking for a high performing, self-starter to join an exciting growth area of the business! Simply put, if you're bright, ambitious and up for a challenge, this is the place to be. You will lead the strategy, planning and execution to crack the code on community engagement and sales results. Leveraging data to identify opportunities within a community you will organize out of home media buys, channel sales readiness and excitement and installation capacity and readiness developing a playbook to optimize as you launch.

 

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:

 

You’ll use your balance of strong marketing strategy, and focus on execution to develop the strategy with supporting plans and drive execution at the community level with internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll work across large stakeholder groups including external agencies, channel sales teams, customer service and delivery, TELUS digital, external partners, consumer health, home solutions marking, corporate citizenship and communications as well as numerous teams within the TELUS organization to develop and execute the community strategy.

Here’s how:


•    Shape the community launch strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to set the vision, business requirements, execution and monitor performance
•    Lead the planning and strategy for campaign and channel activity to support community launches
•    Modify/optimize the playbook for community launches to maximize ROI and ROAS
•    Collaborate with cross functional partnerships across the company to support improved customer perceptions & value in the strategic launch community
•    Analyze results and customer insights into actionable requirements to drive continuous improvement

•    Known for your focus on strategy, you’re a seasoned strategic marketer who can articulate consumer needs, develop go-to-market plans and execute complex community launches.
•    Noted for your creativity in building non-traditional marketing strategies including content, social media focusing on community level engagement
•    With a strong focus on measuring marketing campaigns, setting goals and driving performance and optimizing tactics through a collaborative team approach
•    Recognized for your ability to bring forward new ideas, challenge established thinking, and be ready to adapt plans to changing business needs
•    With Superior communication, presentation and storytelling abilities; able to craft clear, concise and compelling messages within a story
•    Known for your ability to bring teams together, to work closely and across cross functional teams to identify opportunities and execute on projects and priorities

 

Great-to-haves:


•    Knowledge of the Google suite of applications, notably Slides and Sheets
•    Work with visualization tools (Tableau and Domo)
