The BCX Office of the Chief of Staff, is a new team dedicated to streamlining how Business Customer Experience (BCX) operates, making it easier for us to get work done with less time and effort, thereby enabling our collective success. We implement solutions that solve organization-wide challenges and many of our programs are launched at the guidance of senior leadership. Our span is wide and critical to TELUS’ success-  from AI, Technology migration, Network reliability, Health Solutions, to transforming the customer journey, we do it all.

What you’ll do


As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for helping to drive a variety of strategic transformational programs that enable our business results, customer experience and our team culture. This will include cost efficiency programs, structural realignments as well as ad hoc “we’ve-never-done-this-before” initiatives. Our goal is to set up teams for success, and transition a steady state set up into our operations within 6 to 12 months. 

 

  • As a highly motivated self-starter and thought leader with a diverse and broad skill set, and a flexible and collaborative nature, you’ll  work with all levels of leadership to deliver high high impact results
  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, synthesize deliverables into clear plans and deliver on program commitments.  Relationship building and managing stakeholders is a key component of how you’ll achieve great results
  • Key to your success in this role, will be organizing complex and disparate asks into a clear program structure that can easily be communicated to working teams and senior leadership
  • You’ll need to manage storytelling across multiple mediums, including written narratives, slideware and structured emails - adjusting approach and style depending on the audience and desired outcomes

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Natural and compelling communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to bring structure to the most ambiguous topics, in order to present information to diverse audiences - facilitating dialogue and debate
  • A growth mindset, and continuous learning spirit
  • You have best-in-class program management skills and demonstrated facilitation abilities for all levels of leadership
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You are self-motivated with high standards of performance and with the ability to deal with complex concepts 
  • Ability to future-cast and anticipate multiple outcomes to reduce and mitigate issues

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • 5+ years in project and program management
  • University or Master’s degree in General Management or Program Management
  • Telecommunications/technology industry experience
  • Experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix and driving large-scale organizational change

 

 

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
