TELUS Health Chief Security Office operates at the forefront of cybersecurity excellence, where our team anticipates threats, solves complex security challenges, and delivers world-class cybersecurity solutions through cutting-edge technology and premier industry partnerships in an ever-evolving digital landscape. The TH CSO Strategy Enablement team delivers strategic planning, innovation, business development, performance measurement, transformation enablement and execution, plus cross-functional collaboration across TELUS, TELUS Health, and TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods while providing direct support to Health team members.
As Senior Strategy Manager, you will drive strategic conversations and shape organizational direction by analyzing complex business problems, designing innovative solutions, and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. You will manage high-urgency, high-visibility initiatives while leading organizational transformations and driving cross-functional alignment through strong stakeholder relationships and collaborative influence.
This role requires strong strategic thinking and business acumen, exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, proven organizational and change management expertise, collaborative leadership with influence capabilities, and a commitment to continuous learning in dynamic environments.
What you'll do
- Act as a trusted advisor to the TH CSO and direct point of contact for TH security directors and key leaders teams, providing expert guidance.
- Regularly collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective execution & communication of organizational vision and business strategy
- Lead or support executive discussions including quarterly planning workshops and formal Strat Check process to ensure alignment and effectiveness in driving the business forward .
- Initiate strategic analysis and synthesize results into key insights and actionable recommendations for the leadership team
- Build strong and collaborative relationships across all B2B departments, facilitating seamless execution of the strategic vision and managing progress towards targets.
- Influence stakeholder groups to drive tangible improvements in governance and performance.
- Drive transparency in communicating risks and opportunities to the TH CSO and /or LT in a timely manner, to minimize adverse impacts, or maximize business outcomes, respectively.
What you bring
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to initiate strategic analysis, synthesize results, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work across TELUS Health Product business units, including CIO to ensure progress against both strategic and tactical initiatives: support process excellence deployment, communication, benefits tracking, and governance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, compelling visuals and influential messages appropriate for the audience, including leadership and executive-level presentations.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams to ensure progress and sound execution of initiatives.
- Expert facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to lead discussions and align objectives to drive effectiveness in achieving business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influencing a culture of transparency in sharing risks and opportunities with senior leaders to drive the best outcomes.
- Strong project management and innovation skills, with the ability to facilitate seamless execution of the strategic vision and manage progress towards targets.
- The ability to influence stakeholder groups to drive tangible improvements in processes and performance.
- Experience with digital collaboration platforms, data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms.
- University degree in Business, Information Technology Management or a related field; Masters degree desirable
- 5-7 years of experience in a Management Consulting or corporate strategy with a large organization
