Our team is responsible for the end-to-end life cycle management of critical Enterprise and Data Center network infrastructure, technology and services. We are looking for leaders like you to share your knowledge and experience to help develop and build next generation capabilities and technologies that will reshape the way we work.

 

The physical and virtual networks that we manage interact with a wide range of corporate applications and technologies, so there is never a shortage of teams seeking out our expertise and guidance to solve new technical and business challenges. In addition, we are focused on incorporating automation and innovation in our networks and processes, trying to identify ways to increase our productivity, accuracy and network visibility, while minimizing network outages.

 

What you’ll do


You will report directly to the manager of Planning & Engineering (Architecture and Automation) and partner with our stakeholders in technology, business, Real Estate, implementation and DevOps to deliver technology roadmaps, network architectures and technical recommendations that are committed to network reliability and resilience. As a subject matter expert, your skills will be sought after to analyze complex business and technical requirements and come up with creative solutions in collaboration with other internal and external teams to meet our business goals.

 

In conjunction with our automation team, you will also make recommendations on process improvements and network design enhancements to maximize productivity through automation. You will be a key partner for our peer Network DevOps team, ensuring that the solutions and designs that we develop, meet business requirements and maintain operational excellence. You will help to continuously identify risks/issues with our networks/designs and to support the Network DevOps team as a steady and expert hand when high priority/visibility incidents are escalated.
 

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • 10 years’ experience in networking
  • Degree/ diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
  • Cloud and Network Certifications: Cisco, Juniper, GCP, AWS
  • Infrastructure as Code: Python, Terraform, Ansible, Javascript, Bash, HTML, Git, Github
  • Able to learn new technologies quickly with an analytical mind
  • Able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and processes to diverse groups including senior leaders and business owners
  • Able to see the big and long-term picture and act strategically to avoid band-aid solutions
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Able to work some off-shift hours as needed
  • Possess good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Possess strong documentation skills

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience working within the Telecom industry
  • Bilingual in English and French
