What you’ll do

 

We are searching for a highly organized individual to play a critical role in leading the evolution of our web assets.

 

Working within the TELUS Health marketing team, the Senior Web Product Owner plays a key role in improving the overall experience and design of our websites. They will be working with a diverse team including the marketing primes, the technical leads, digital content strategy manager, web developer, UX specialists, database management and martech manager, etc.

 

As a Senior Web Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for defining a product vision that aligns with strategic business objectives. You’ll lead the development of a plan to deliver an enhanced end-to-end digital journey across TELUS Health websites.

  • Understanding the TELUS Health vision, as well as the business outcomes and customer problems we are trying to achieve to ensure that a customer-centric approach is considered
  • Defining a website roadmap that aligns with strategic business objectives and prioritizes digital experiences in partnership with stakeholders
  • Building a better and more consistent digital experience by owning, managing and continuously improving the UI components, code frameworks and digital standards
  • Driving collaboration with cross-functional team resources to deliver work in a lean way that builds trust, ownership and accountability
  • Assisting with the collection and synthesis of information and the development of deliverables. Ensuring all activities related to planning, design, development, testing and deployment are accounted for and carried out. Identifying, addressing and reporting on dependencies and risks to delivery
  • Being accountable for product KPIs; tracking, analyzing and reporting on team metrics

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • More than 5 years experience as a key member of a web/digital team leading the complete product/web development lifecycle from planning through to execution
  • Ability to communicate the strategic vision for long-term product roadmap of large websites/complex ecosystems
  • Strong project and process management skills, and the ability to lead projects with cross-functional teams. A good understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks is an asset
  • Excellent strategic analysis and thinking, with the ability to interpret data and generate innovative and unconventional solutions
  • Excellent design sense and very familiar with development, design, UX, coding
  • Demonstrated a collaborative and teamwork-focused mindset
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to understand your audience and create or adapt messages to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Master facilitator skills to act as a bridge between stakeholders. Demonstrating a capacity to be an active listener and be able to communicate each side’s needs and requirements
  • Independent thinking and self-starter skills; able to work effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment. Creative, resourceful and innovative at tackling complex challenges

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with international B2B websites
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Spanish, Dutch or German is also an asset

Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
