The BCX Office of the Chief of Staff, is a new team dedicated to streamlining how Business Customer Experience (BCX) operates, making it easier for us to get work done with less time and effort, enabling our collective success. We provide advice and recommendations for solving organization-wide challenges, reducing risk and simplifying decision-making.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assess, analyze and contextualize critical areas of our business, in order to aid our Sr leadership in decision-making and planning. What you’ll do*

 

In this Senior Business Analyst role, you will get to:

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Synthesize ideas and complex data from various sources to develop comprehensive business cases, impactful presentations and compelling narratives to facilitate informed decision-making at all levels.
  • Leverage your analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets, translating these findings into actionable recommendations. Conduct in-depth financial analyses to inform and drive strategic decision-making processes.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, or a similar role in a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives. Demonstrated experience in creating and presenting business cases to senior leadership. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to create impactful presentations
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to perform in-depth financial analyses
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace tools, particularly slides and advanced use of Sheets
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in business analysis and financial management
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture and think strategically
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, able to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)

 

 

Salary Range:  $70,000-$104,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
