About us
TELUS Small & Medium Business Solutions (SMB) is a dedicated business-to-business sales channel serving customers in the B2B space. The Channel Manager-Sales is an integral part of the SMB team supporting our TELUS Digital Experience contact centers in the Philippines, India and Morocco.
In our highly dynamic, fast-paced B2B environment you will lead, motivate, and develop a high-performance team of inside sales professionals focused on the small business market. The position is accountable for supporting sales campaigns and driving performance for the integrated portfolio of Business products while focusing on providing an optimal customer experience that reinforces the TELUS brand. You have a deep passion for customers, people, sales and success. This success is all about growing others. In this role, a willingness and ability to travel both domestically and/or internationally will be required.

You will develop and cultivate relationships with our TELUS Digital teams, located internationally to drive sales performance for TELUS' business products. How?

- You will, through directional influence, develop high-performing teams of sales agents who close new business while also managing the lifecycle of the customer through retention activities
- You will foster and develop effective partnerships and relationships through collaboration, problem-solving and innovation
- You will drive strategic change to enhance performance and raise the bar on all aspects of the day-to-day operations by demonstrating strong leadership skills to influence performance
- You will provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on the performance metrics for the business in order to facilitate effective business planning, forecasting and resource allocation
- You will develop and drive new processes and techniques to continually raise the bar on Customer Experience, sales performance and efficiency
- Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization and uphold the values and behaviors of a senior leader in the business and throughout the extended community
Qualifications
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- In-dept knowledge of contact centre operational processes, key performance indicators and sales performance optimization
- Proven ability to lead through influence and drive results across cross-functional teams
- Strong mentorship and team development capabilities
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience building consensus and negotiating win-win outcomes in complex situations
- Ability to communicate effectively across different cultural contexts
- Passionate about developing solutions for Canadian businesses
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and drive clarity
- Known for being able to effectively manage multiple priorities at all times with strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience
- Minimum 2 years of sales leadership experience
- Experience in working in a contact center environment either in an Operations and/or Account management role is preferred
- Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent sales and industry experience
