As a key member of the Project Management Office, the Client Project Manager II is the primary interface between TELUS and our Wholesale Clients. They carry overall responsibility for Client satisfaction in the delivery of all TELUS products & services Accountable for the planning and successful delivery of large complex client facing projects for TELUS' largest clients in a multi-faceted, challenging, complex, single-disciplined environment.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)

  • Defining project scope and objectives, secure appropriate resources

  • Developing schedules to ensure successful timely delivery and completion of project

  • Managing project financials

  • Ensuring control of project: dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies and change

  • Ensuring deliverables adhere to quality standards

  • Communicating project status effectively to variety of audiences including cross-functional teams, senior leaders and clients

  • Managing client relations and expectations during implementation and project delivery
     

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Strong foundation in project management methodologies, principles and practices

  • Proven communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively

  • Strong capability in gathering business requirements, assessing risks, and developing mitigation plans

  • 3+ years of hands on project management experience

  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience developing clear and concise presentations and detailed project plans

  • Experience in managing digital transformation projects

  • Proficiency managing project budgets

  • Openness to learning and integrating AI tools as part of their regular work routine

Qualifications

 

What you bring

  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management, cross functional teams and customers

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with Google-Suite and and MS Project

  • Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

 

Great-to-haves

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent) 

  • Working knowledge of JIRA and SAP

Salary Range:  $77,000-$115,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
