Our team and what we'll accomplish together
You'll join our Calgary-based clinical team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals — including dietitians, nurses, exercise physiologists and physicians — who work collaboratively every day to ensure clients feel welcomed, supported, and guided through their health journey.
The dietitian's primary role is to deliver excellent, evidence-based clinical care to clients across the health spectrum. We specialize in nutrition management for chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and prediabetes, obesity, and gut health. We also work with individuals seeking to optimize their energy and athletic or work performance, and those managing food allergies and intolerances.

What you'll do
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for:
- Screening all patient charts prior to their appointment
- Reviewing and assessing relevant laboratory data
- Conducting a thorough history of food and diet concerns
- Analyzing and comparing food intake with nutritional requirements
- Applying knowledge of nutrition requirements throughout the life cycle
- Translating scientific, medical, and nutrition information into practical, individualized nutrition recommendations for our clients and supporting them in goal setting
- Determining potential nutrient, supplement, and drug interactions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, and wellness coaches) to provide optimal care; we meet weekly to discuss complex cases and coordinate care
- Conducting individual counseling sessions, with dedicated time for chart review, lab analysis, and team collaboration meetings
Qualifications
What you bring
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Science, Nutrition Major
- Dietetic Internship completed in a public or private healthcare environment
- Current Registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a clinical dietitian, OR a recent graduate with strong practicum experience in a clinical setting and demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Strong skills in communication, interpersonal interaction, organization, and time management
- Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Great-to-haves
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
- Experience delivering virtual or telehealth nutrition counseling
- Experience providing nutrition counselling and support to clients using GLP-1 medications
- Familiarity with nutrition tracking apps or dietary assessment software tools

$35-$61
