We are seeking a Director, Brand & Customer Marketing to join our team. You will be instrumental in establishing TELUS Business as the brand leader across all business segments, including Small Business, Commercial, and Public Sector.
What You'll Do:
As Director, Brand & Customer Marketing, you will lead your team to:
- Drive Demand Generation: Strategize, plan, and execute multi-channel campaigns to generate demand for our business products through targeted display advertising, social media, SEM/SEO, events, email marketing campaigns, and content creation
- Elevate the B2B Brand: Evolve our visual identity, set clear guidelines, build our asset library, and provide best practices to other Business Units, ensuring alignment with the broader TELUS brand
- Lead Brand & Social Campaigns: Design and execute annual social and branding campaigns, including the award-winning #StandWithOwners, manage relationships with creative agencies, and provide leadership on naming and messaging
- Manage Agency Relationships & Guidance: Oversee relationships with multiple creative, media, and specialist agencies, offering leadership and guidance to other teams on naming, value proposition development, and product messaging to ensure brand framework alignment
- Grow Market Research: Develop and expand our market research practice, producing and distributing high-impact customer studies. Drive critical insights for senior executives and TELUS product teams through ad hoc studies, tracking studies, ad testing, customer experience surveys, and customer panels
- Strengthen Brand Engagement: Share and reinforce the TELUS Business brand through various brand engagement programs via events, roundtables, and other executive engagements, working with national and regional partners
- Oversee GTM & Product Marketing: Hold end-to-end responsibility for Go-to-Market (GTM) and product marketing strategy, planning, and execution, including channel communications, sales asset creation, and customer messaging for major product launches and key campaigns (e.g., Black Friday)
- Manage Digital Marketing Platforms: Manage the roadmap and content for our digital marketing platforms to educate customers and sales teams about our industry-leading products and services
- Foster Strategic Partnerships: Partner with a wide variety of brands, associations, and community groups to provide offers and content to their members and customers, driving business for TELUS
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Strategic Leadership: Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing marketing teams with a strategic mindset and practical execution abilities
- Brand & Demand Expertise: Strong background in brand development, multi-channel demand generation, and GTM strategy
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical skills to derive insights from market research and strong communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to various stakeholders
- Agency Management: Demonstrated experience managing creative, media, and specialist agencies effectively
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Operational Flexibility: Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Great-to-Haves:
- Educational background in Marketing, Business, or a related field, and/or an MBA
- 10+ years of progressive and relevant work experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field
- Prior telecommunications expertise
- B2B marketing experience

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.) as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
