Lead and support our construction workforce in the execution of the capital build programs in BCNI

As someone who is inquisitive, excited about communication technology, enthusiastic about being part of a team and enjoys a good challenge, you will be part of the Business Customer Network Implementation team executing and delivering on fibre build initiatives.

 

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together     

 

•    Take ownership of multiple build projects involving large, cross-functional stakeholder groups, from concept through to delivery.  
•    Complete field audits as required and be accountable for monitoring and coaching end to end build partners in support of the QA program.
•    Provide input on design alternatives, change requests and network completions/revisions 
•    Resolve customer escalations/complaints and ensure guidelines are adhered to for Threats/Releases (NAR). 
•    Maintain a strong understanding of TELUS outside plant practices and standards and enforce TELUS safety, quality and build standards across the program.
•    Maintain a strong understand of TELUS applications, products and services, organizational delivery capabilities, and TELUS end-to-end processes.
•    Maintain awareness of industry trends and technology available that would, if implemented, result in operational or efficiency improvements to current processes.

Successful candidates are able to build and drive end-to-end improvements to ensure program goals are met. You’ll have demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, process improvement and quality control as well as posses strong organizational and time management skills.      

 

•    Does the concept of being part of a team contributing to an ever changing technological work environment appeal to you?

•    When you think of projects, do you like to be an integral part of the process from concept to execution and evaluation?

•    Do you easily communicate to different audiences in the language that they understand by leveraging your technical ability coupled with excellent communication skills and strong experience in project management?

•    Ideally, you will have a background in root cause analysis and proactively forming recommendations and executing on process improvements.
•    You are a lifelong learner, naturally curious, and not afraid to make mistakes that you can learn from in order to become better at what you do. 


Required experience:

:    

•    Outside/Inside Plant build experience 
•    Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
•    Ability to work with multiple & conflicting priorities and manage multiple projects and deliverables 
•    Working knowledge of the Google suite of tools as well as an understanding of JIRA/Confluence.
