This is an exciting opportunity to lead the CSD AI Innovation Hub within Customer Solutions Delivery (CSD). What you’ll do
As Manager of the team you will collaborate with business leaders and team members to identify high-impact opportunities and socialize data-driven solutions. Drawing on your knowledge of system architecture and data science, you will work with your team to design and build workflows, applications and APIs that leverage SOTA methodologies - especially in the arena of LLMs and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying AI to solve real business problems. This individual must possess a passion for uniting people and ideas and the ability to inspire teams to achieve measurable business impact.
Your Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of AI and data professionals. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture by driving ownership, experimentation, technical rigor, and measurable business impact, all while strategically balancing competing priorities.
- Data Strategy & Applied AI Leadership: Drive the strategy, architecture, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning (including large language models) to turn raw, unstructured data (like notes and transcripts) into actionable insights, and to build reliable, intelligent systems that automate complex tasks for operational teams. Oversee the entire technical solution lifecycle, ensuring all solutions are designed for seamless integration into the current production environment, built for scale and performance, and maintainable over the long term.
- Communication & Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way. Build strong relationships across functions to ensure alignment and adoption of AI initiatives.
Qualifications
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience leading data science or AI/ML teams, with proven team management and mentoring success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline
- Practical experience designing and deploying LLM-powered systems
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT pipeline design, data modeling, SQL, data quality controls, and integration with modern data warehouses
- Strong backend development experience in Python, including building and deploying APIs
- Experience designing end-to-end systems that connect data pipelines, models, APIs, and user-facing applications into cohesive, maintainable architectures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP), containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring practices
- Strong systems-thinking mindset and the ability to translate strategic business objectives into scalable, AI-powered solutions
