The successful candidate will act as the bridge between our build teams, municipal, regional and provincial stakeholders, and community leaders, driving timely execution of projects while maintaining strong relationships and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

- Permitting & Approvals: Lead the permitting process across multiple jurisdictions; anticipate regulatory requirements, resolve roadblocks, and ensure compliance with municipal standards and timelines.
- Subsidy Enablement: Collaborate with internal finance and strategy teams to identify, apply for, and secure municipal, provincial, and federal funding opportunities that support fibre build initiatives.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with engineering, construction, legal, and external build partners to ensure municipal requirements are incorporated into project design and execution.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to rights-of-way, zoning, easements, and other municipal processes.
- Advocacy & Representation: Represent the company with municipalities, regional associations, and community forums to advocate for streamlined processes and promote the benefits of fibre deployment.
