Description

 

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Manager to lead the planning and wholesale operations for our Certified Pre-Owned Mobile Devices category. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to optimize product assortment, inventory planning, and wholesale partnerships to drive sales and profitability. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Inventory Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast supply, optimize inventory levels, and ensure adequate stock of certified pre-owned mobile devices to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory
  • Wholesale Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with wholesale suppliers to source certified pre-owned mobile devices, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies for wholesale transactions, taking into account market dynamics, competitive pricing, and profitability goals
  • Manage Bring it Back and Trade In Values to optimize profitability in all channels
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within the certified pre-owned mobile devices category
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including sales, margin, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction, to assess the effectiveness of assortment planning and wholesale strategies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, operations, and customer service, to align planning and wholesale strategies with business objectives and drive overall category success
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth within the certified pre-owned mobile devices category, and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, supply chain management, wholesale operations, or related roles, preferably in retail or e-commerce
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Proficiency in inventory planning and forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of the mobile devices market and industry trends is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Strategic thinking ability and a results-driven mindset

Salary Range:  $75,000-$113,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%
