The Fibre Networks team is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and results driven individual with a proven track record to join our Fibre Order Based Drops (OBD) team. This team blends their mastery of network implementation with a passion for ongoing success and driving improvements in the customer experience. We’re seeking a project management professional who thrives in a fast past complex environment and brings a strong customer focus to help drive exceptional customer outcomes. As a Project Manager II, you will oversee the execution and successful completion of our post build order based drops program with a partner vendor, bringing an enhanced focus on continuous improvement and innovation. You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery with your partner maximizing our first attempt success, while working alongside a collaborative and skilled team.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

 

  • Accountable for end to end ownership of OBD delivery for your partner stream
  • Track and monitor progress of execution of work to ensure ambitious first attempt (pass) success metrics are exceeded
  • Responsible to manage the relationship and deliverables for partner vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Review escalations and solve for customer services, taking lessons learned and seeing through implementation
  • Analyze data, summarize and track information, and create reports and presentations
  • Establish new business processes and lead innovations to improve cycle time, budget, reliability and engagement in a collaborative environment



 

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience managing projects or leading cross functional teams
  • Collaborative, highly motivated, creative and self-sufficient with the ability to multi-task and work successfully under pressure with a strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated partner vendor management experience
  • Experience dealing with ambiguous requirements and translating them into concrete outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, negotiation, communication and analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you can translate complex technical topics into easily understood concepts for our stakeholders and team members
  • Stakeholder management experience including senior executives is an asset

 

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with software/tools such as: Outcome, JIRA, DOMO, MyWorld, Appian
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile or equivalent)



 

Salary Range:  $77,000-$115,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
