Join a team of passionate technical & business leaders.  Embed security, reliability, operational excellence, and cost efficiency as immutable guardrails within the operations team responsible for responding to lawful requests. Collaborate across the organization to: evolve governance controls; address data management and accuracy; simplify work flow processes and transition to automated solutions. Our team's success is in our ability to respond to lawful requests while equally addressing the due care of customer information. 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Responsible for understanding all aspects of responding to lawful requests & all tools and types of data used to support this space. 
  • Develop and define business requirements and Key Performance Indicators that enable the business to track performance and success.
  • Identifying & develop plan for implementation on continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Develop roadmaps which contribute to the strategic enablement:  developing & prioritizing business requirements; technical integration; workflow efficiencies; test plans & acceptance; documenting job aids. 
  • Participate in projects & deliver on the technical requirements; workflow processes; develop test & implementation plans leading to project sign off; focus on resolving issues; document job aids. 
  • Partner with internal and external technology and business teams to define business processes and associated system requirements, with understanding of technical design. 
  • Implement and integrate business applications and influence the design of features that improve the adoption, reliability and usefulness/value-add of our applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with various key stakeholders & maintain strategic relationships.

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Degree in Business Management.
  • Certified in IT Project Management or Quality & Process Management or equivalent.
  • Reliability Clearance I from Public Safety, Government of Canada.
  • Known for your strong problem-solving, strategic approach, and analytical capabilities, you translate data into meaningful visual insights using analytic and reporting tools.
  • Valued for your project management, analysis and problem management experience working with multiple cross functional teams.
  • Strong in assessing critical data & its origin, what it means & how it applies in executing lawful responses. 
  • Proven experience in defining and documenting business processes & system requirements; analysis of data & its association to workflow modeling; developing and relaying use cases/user stories; entity relationships in an agile environment. 
  • Effective communicator across diverse technical and nontechnical audiences, including developers, technical leads, business owners, senior leaders, etc.

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • CISSP Certification
  • Business Analyst experience, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with agile development practices
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Bi-lingual in English and French
Salary Range:  $82,000-$124,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
