We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Sales Support team at TELUS Health. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between our sales organization and various internal stakeholders, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to drive sales performance, optimize processes, and enable strategic decision-making. You will work closely with sales leadership, operations, finance, and product teams to deliver actionable insights that accelerate revenue growth and improve sales effectiveness.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Build and maintain sales dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce) to track performance metrics, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts
  • Analyze sales performance across regions, products, verticals, and reps to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategy
  • Optimize sales processes and workflows by evaluating inefficiencies, partnering with sales operations, and developing playbooks and best practice documentation
  • Conduct strategic market analysis including competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, and deep-dive studies to support data-driven decision-making
  • Support sales forecasting and planning with recommendations for quota setting, territory planning, account segmentation, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT teams on revenue alignment, campaign effectiveness, go-to-market strategies, and CRM optimization
  • Implement and optimize sales tools ensuring effective adoption and integration of new technologies across the sales organization
  • Enable sales teams through self-service analytical tools, training on data interpretation, and templates that empower independent insights
  • Deliver executive communications via presentations and data visualizations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights for leadership
  • Analyze compensation and incentive programs to evaluate effectiveness and support sales incentive strategy

 

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting sales or revenue-generating teams
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and complex formulas
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable business insights
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
  • Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or technology industries is an asset

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or MBA
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SPSS)
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling)
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Project Management (PMP)
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and privacy requirements (HIPAA, PIPEDA)

     
Salary Range:  $72,000-$108,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
