At TELUS, we're reimagining what's possible when innovation meets human experience. We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Rendezvous Systems Evolution (RVSE) team, where you'll revolutionize how our technicians work and deliver exceptional service every day.

You'll be at the forefront of transformation—introducing cutting-edge AI capabilities, delivering real-time customer insights to the field, and championing self-service and automation initiatives that drive operational excellence. Our vision is a seamless, intuitive technician experience that sets the industry standard, and you'll be instrumental in making it a reality.

If you're passionate about creating meaningful impact through technology and thrive in dynamic, innovation-driven environments, this is your opportunity to shape the future of field operations at TELUS.

What you’ll do

You'll drive dynamic, high-impact work across the business: detailing business requirements for critical systems, facilitating meetings with stakeholders to drive clear understanding of the challenges we need to tackle and alignment on the solution approach and capabilities necessary to do it.  You'll drive our roadmap forward by:

  • Designing future-ready solutions — develop requirements, implement strategic projects, and optimize systems for scale
  • Strategic systems thinking — understand how the parts relate to the whole solution and drive analysis by following a chain of causation through interconnected systems
  • Solving complex, ambiguous business challenges with clear, actionable strategies
  • Partnering cross-functionally with CIO, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Promoting collaboration — engaging with cross functional teams to drive ideation and problem solving
  • Focus on Systems Quality — develop test strategies and test execution with a goal of flawless system deployments

  • 5–10 years of professional experience, with minimum 2 years in a business analysis role or experience in an operational role
  • Collaborative influence — experience partnering with stakeholders and driving alignment through influence
  • Strong business and financial acumen — you have the ability to tease out benefits of new capabilities and quantify them to drive strategic decision making
  • Proactive visionary — you identify opportunities beyond what the business asks for, look for opportunities to reuse existing capabilities and ensure new capabilities are future proofed
  • Process Analysis — ability to map operational processes and systems capabilities in current mode and future mode
  • Analytical mindset — skilled in building test strategies that explore all possible scenarios in a highly integrated environment
