In this exciting role, you are driving and enhancing our proactive security strategy and investments through working with large cross-functional teams spanning across TELUS, consistently ensuring that plans are interlocked in a rapidly evolving technology and threat landscape.
What you’ll do
- Leverage your security expertise to further craft our short-and long-term strategy, working collaboratively across our stakeholder community to develop, refine, enhance, and implement
- Coordinate the governance cadence of the CSO team and interlock with key stakeholders
- Gather, compile and explore complex and multi-dimensional data to support executive discussion and strategic decision-making
- Develop business cases to support new initiatives, building and presenting simplified messages to TELUS executives in both technical and business teams
- Analyze performance against the multi-year go-to-market plan through a KPI framework, including team scorecards
- Build and present team initiatives and performance to executive audiences both internally and externally
- Utilize your advanced communication skills to publish key security updates across the TELUS organization
Qualifications
What you bring
- 5 years of experience within Cybersecurity or Network Security
- MBA or Master’s degree in technical field, OR equivalent experience
- You are organized and strategic with an eye for what’s important
- You thrive in collaborating across different teams, making connections between people and concepts outside of their normal day-to-day activities
- You enjoy analyzing the future to assess potential outcomes between strategic options and provide recommendations from data analysis
- You are a compelling communicator, comfortable in conveying strategies to executive audiences both visually and verbally
- You are persuasive, building support for your programs among stakeholders with diverging interests and priorities

- Exposure to the network security or physical security industries
- Bilingual (English and French)
