As a Senior Cybersecurity CSA, you'll play an essential role in supporting our clients and sales teams to perform needs assessment, product demonstration, opportunity qualification, solution design and proposal development. You will perform consultative selling, conveying technical concepts effectively to senior management, business decision-makers and project stakeholders. You are self-motivated, proactive, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for knowledge transition to post-sales implementation and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 

What you’ll do in this role

 

  • Help attain regional sales growth and revenue targets 
  • Represent the TELUS Cybersecurity Solutions portfolio including managed security services, advisory and technical professional services 
  • Consult with clients to identify business requirements and qualify opportunities 
  • Develop technical recommendations, solutions, statements of work and proposals to meet customer requirements 
  • Participate in continuous improvement to evolve tools, processes, and service capabilities

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Cybersecurity knowledge across controls and concepts such as NGFW, SASE, MDR/XDR, SIEM, SASE, Zero Trust, Cloud Security
  • Ability to uncover and understand business requirements through a consultative process and associate technical solutions with business risk and outcomes 
  • Effectively develop and present technical recommendations 
  • Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills 
  • Minimum 5 years sales engineering or equivalent experience in IT or cybersecurity, including contributions to solution and proposal development

  • Committed to continuous improvement to develop and evolve security knowledge and capabilities 


Great-to-haves

 

  • Bilingual: English and French -  Strong asset
  • Familiarity with GRC and Incident response
  • Vendor certifications for the cybersecurity technology domains listed in the Qualifications section
  • Industry certifications, such as ISACA CISM/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP/CCSP, SANS/GIAC, CSA CCSK

 

 

Salary Range:  $106,000-$160,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  $25,000-45,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
