Reporting to the Manager, Wireline Internet, Bundles & Household Creation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketer who is strategic, analytical, and eager to wear many different hats to deliver on overall Internet acquisition outcomes.

This role will focus on driving internet household acquisition within Wireless HSIA and copper Internet footprints in urban and rural communities across Alberta and British Columbia. As the acquisition leader, you will develop and execute 4P marketing plans that optimize our Internet gross loading outcomes.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Develop, plan, and execute integrated acquisition marketing plans attacking key segments within our target footprints, specifically leveraging levers such as paid media campaigns, 1:1 journeys (email, MMS, outbound calling) and channel engagement and support initiatives
  • Define, maintain and communicate core value propositions and positioning best practices to all marketing and sales teams
  • Utilize data-driven insights and a deep understanding of target markets and segments to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with digital and marketing communications teams to craft personalized, targeted, and meaningful engagement with potential customers across various mediums
  • Ensure goals and strategy are articulated and executed flawlessly within our channels, working with leaders to educate frontline team members on selling the service and ensuring a seamless end-to-end sales experience for the customer
  • Work with cross-functional teams (product, pricing, base management, digital, and retention teams) to create holistic strategies, supporting product evolution, profitability, and growth
  • Deeply understand gross loading performance and actively seek channel feedback to identify opportunities and areas of growth

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Marketing positions
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute priorities
  • Experience working with sales channels and developing integrated marketing plans
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-driven and proactive with strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Curiosity and proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights to develop and optimize plans

 

Nice to Haves:

 

  • A solid understanding of TELUS Consumer Solutions
  • A business undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communication

 

 

Salary Range:  $86,000-$130,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
