This exciting role is at the very center of our Wireline business supporting one of our most important business outcomes - improving customer churn and retention through strategic proactive offer optimization across our Wireline products.

As the Senior Marketing Manager responsible for Wireline Proactive Offer Strategy, you will be responsible for reporting on the revenue impacts of all base transactions, renewals and churn. 
Additionally you will own the development and execution of upsell and renewal pricing logic across all Wireline products. You will establish the offer frameworks that maximize customer lifetime value for these while achieving our upsell and renewal KPIs, and lead cross-functional teams from across the organization to implement offer initiatives at scale.Together, we will deliver industry-leading retention outcomes for our Wireline portfolios built on the foundation of intelligent, data-driven offer strategies and our "Customer's First" promise.

What you’ll do

  • An analytical, data-driven marketer who is comfortable digging deep into data to uncover key insights and trends. You are able to take complex data and insights and summarize them clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will establish proactive upsell & renewal offer logic for Wireline products to maximize value and improve outcomes across all customer touchpoints. In partnership with our data & insights team, you will develop a deep understanding of pricing performance for these specific product lines, continuously optimizing offer constructs to balance customer value with business profitability.
  • You will develop proactive upsell & renewal offer logic across all Wireline lifecycles, ensuring we have the right offer strategy for every customer segment and stage of their journey within these portfolios. You will be the "go to" person for proactive offer recommendations on Wireline products, sharing strategic overviews and strategies with leadership at all levels to assist with decision making and future planning activity.
  • You will interlock with the Proactive Retention, Upsell & Rewards Team to align on strategies and achieve KPIs across the proactive renewal & upsell portfolios specifically for Wireline products. You will partner with and lead cross-functional teams across channel, product, base management and digital to ensure seamless execution of pricing initiatives for these product lines and consistent offer experiences.
  • You will identify and manage offer related systems enhancements for Wireline needed to drive scale and improve outcomes. This includes business case development of offer tool improvements specific to these products, working with IT and Product teams to implement solutions that enhance our ability to deliver personalized, profitable offers for Wireline customers.
  • You will develop annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasting for the proactive Wireline portfolios to support business planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking. You will play a critical role in ensuring our business has a deep understanding of offer performance, offer uptake and outcomes for these specific product lines, rallying teams around opportunities and improvements.
  • You will interlock with the Reactive Offer Strategy prime on monthly triage to ensure alignment on offer governance, pricing guardrails, and strategic priorities specifically for the proactive KPIs with our Wireline products. You will ensure our proactive pricing strategies for these portfolios align with broader corporate offer architecture while maintaining the flexibility to address competitive pressures and customer needs.

  • An analytical, data-driven marketer who is comfortable digging deep into data to uncover key insights and trends. You are able to take complex data and insights and summarize them clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • The ability to think critically and challenge the status quo, uncovering opportunities to optimize program performance against key performance objectives.
  • Impeccably organized with a proven ability to manage multiple streams of work and multiple stakeholders. 
  • Very strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.  You have a talent for bringing people together in a positive way, you know how to work effectively across groups, discuss opportunities, tackle problems, and motivate people to take action.
  • Recognized for your superb communication skills, you have an ability to explain complex ideas and insights simply and translate them into practical strategies and recommendations.
  • English verbal and written is required for this opportunity. 

Great-to-haves

  • 7+ years progressive experience in marketing or business management positions
  • Knowledge of the Google suite of applications, notably Slides and Sheets
  • Knowledge of data and insights tools like Tableau and Domo are an asset
  • Experience in telecommunications (mobility and/or home services)
  • A business undergraduate degree in Marketing or communication
Salary Range:  $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
