The Strategy and Leadership Support team within Customer Solutions Delivery and Enablement, is a fast-paced and high performing team that is at the forefront of innovation for CSD’s go-to-market approach. We tackle Leadership’s toughest challenges and work closely with senior leaders to bring forward new ideas, rapidly evaluate, and execute on transformational opportunities. 


As a multi-faceted professional, cultural leader and exceptional communicator, you’ll partner with the VP and leadership team to help shape business direction, facilitate cross-functional collaboration through executive level support, and oversee the delivery of critical projects and programs. 


In this role, you'll wear several hats: chief of staff, trusted advisor, consultant, expert facilitator, project manager, communications prime and change agent. Toggling between the big picture and then rolling up your sleeves to do the tactical work is second nature to you. You'll be at the heart of strategic initiatives that directly impact millions of customers across Canada.

Here are some of the key activities you will spearhead in driving our business forward:

 

  • Executive Support: act as a trusted strategic advisor to the VP and CSD leadership team on critical business decisions and initiatives
  • Planning & Execution: Lead strategic planning processes, including business reviews, annual planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and lead our strategic roadmap (plan on a page)
  • Communication Expert: Provide flawless facilitation of forums, manage action items, and drive operational rigor through governance frameworks and expert organization.
  • Storytelling: Support the creation of high-impact presentations, leadership communications and creative storytelling, sharing our vision to multiple audiences including executive, operational, and external partners
  • Team Culture: Lead all-team calls, seeking feedback and actively listening to identify opportunities to improve team morale, and improve work process and enhance how we work together
  • Identify new and emerging opportunities: Conduct analysis, and provide insights to support your recommendations
  • Adaptive Agility: Navigating rapidly changing priorities in high-stakes environments with unparalleled flexibility to deliver exceptional stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consulting, business strategy and/or product management experience

  • Your demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, develop strategies to drive value creation
  • Your understanding of project lifecycle end-to-end from ideation to execution 
  • Your proven analytical abilities: business modelling, forecasting and market assessment
  • Your systematic approach to solving complex problems and turning information into actionable insights
  • Your expertise in driving and managing change with commitment to delivering value

  • Your distinct strategic capabilities strong track record of setting and delivering against key metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Drive, Hangouts, etc.)

 

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Must be able and willing to travel 
  • Previous experience leading large-scale transformational projects 
  • Previous Program Manager experience 
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., project management software, data analysis tools)

 

Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
