Our Customer Network Implementation (CNI) team is responsible for TELUS’ wireline investment, a primary return driver in TELUS’ annual ~$2.9 billion in capital expenditure. We continue to focus on investments in broadband infrastructure, including connecting more homes and businesses directly to TELUS PureFibre. 


This portfolio is on the cutting edge of innovation in the telecommunications space where TELUS is actively engaged with communities of all sizes, local and provincial governments, Indigenous communities and other organizations to identify opportunities to expand broadband technology and services to areas otherwise unreachable. This is a fast-growing portfolio and one of the most strategic network programs at TELUS.

As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll leverage your business acumen and you’ll constantly identify and evaluate opportunities to improve TELUS’ returns on investment.  


With your passion to innovate, you’ll drive TELUS’ network transformation by collaborating with key business and functional stakeholders to promote and enable innovative methods that deliver exceptional business outcomes.


And with your ability to bring together disparate datasets and your passion to finding insights and trends, you’ll drive increased transparency into how the choices and processes we make correlate back to end-to-end business outcomes. This reporting and analysis will enable our leadership to confidently make informed investment decisions and strategies.


Here's how


  • You’ll employ business and data analytics, collaborate with stakeholders across a variety of business units, and help shape strategic solutions to improve TELUS’ Network implementation. 
  • You’ll be involved with the creation and automation of reporting insights. 
  • Utilize your data analysis skills to understand root cause, capture opportunities, and size potential benefits.
  • Facilitate cross-functional, collaborative meetings to garner business knowledge and drive solutions.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities through automation or other methods to drive efficiencies
  • Maintaining and evolving key financial processes to ensure company financial intel and compliance
  • Establishing a methodology for identifying and evaluating business opportunities, including process improvement, by preparing and presenting detailed business cases in a simplified decision making manner


You're the missing piece of the puzzle!


  • With exceptional analytical skills, with proficiency and familiarity writing queries / sourcing data from multiple databases.
  • Experience completing root cause analysis and proactively forming recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to conceptualize and deliver meaningful dashboards for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Strong G-Suite, DOMO and Microsoft Office applications skillset
  • With your solid understanding of the telecommunication industry and TELUS’ position within it, we’ll look to you to successfully lead the development of robust business cases and are capable of sharing the results with executive audiences
  • In this role, you’re not afraid to dive into reporting and data to discover anomalies and identify trends which will help further inform program risks and opportunities
  • The ideal candidate will have a track record for building relationships, including the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and you will have a demonstrated ability to execute on complex projects, to ensure project timelines are met and deliverables are realized or exceeded

Great-to-haves (optional) 


  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate ideas, concepts or complex issues in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences
  • The ability to lead multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams in a matrix structure
  • A University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
  • An MBA or demonstrated equivalence
  • 5+ years in complex program management or business consulting, delivering multiple complex initiatives simultaneously from creation to implementation
