We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to play a pivotal role in the Fibre Build & Business Solutions Interlock Program. The Fibre Build & Business Solutions Interlock team is driving the future of Canadian connectivity. We're expanding TELUS' national footprint with a multi-billion dollar investment in crucial infrastructure, bringing our world-leading networks to new customers.

 

Our Fibre Build & Business Solutions Interlock team, within the Fibre Enablement Program, drives premise delivery to consumer and business customers throughout Canada. In this role, you will collaborate across teams within TELUS Business, with key internal and external stakeholders, to execute and interlock on critical path processes and operational activities that fuel our growth. 

 

Your talents will contribute to multiple streams of work including:


•    Program Governance - driving program oversight and accountability
•    Planning & Performance - ensuring end to end coordination & prioritization across stakeholder teams
•    Processes & Enablement - establishing cross functional processes and critical path readiness & support
•    Special Projects & Long Term Programs - igniting short term projects and building long term programs to support Business within the national build, driving RGUs and customer delight
 

 

What you’ll do


 
You will lead high-impact programs that drive strategic initiatives linking Fibre Enablement and TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) priorities nationwide. This means:
 

  • Strategic Program Leadership: You'll own complex, cross-functional programs from conception to delivery—managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while keeping multiple initiatives moving forward simultaneously
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: You'll be the connective tissue internally across key TELUS teams and externally with our entity stakeholders, building relationships, facilitating alignment, and ensuring seamless communication on mission-critical initiatives
  • Strategic Communication: You'll translate complex program updates into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from executive steering committees to operational teams, driving actions and outcomes
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: You'll diagnose root causes, design creative solutions, rally stakeholders, and drive execution to keep programs on track
     

Qualifications

 

What you bring
 

  • Program Management Driver & Orchestrator – You have a proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with significant budgets. You're skilled in risk management, governance frameworks, and driving accountability across teams you don't directly control
  • Strategic Thinker – You connect the dots between business objectives and program execution, anticipating challenges, identifying opportunities, and ensuring every initiative ladders up to our broader mission
  • Change Champion – You understand that transformation isn't just about process—it's about people. You embed change management principles into your programs, bringing stakeholders along the journey while maintaining momentum
  • Data-Informed Decision Maker – You leverage data and insights to track program health, identify risks early, and make informed recommendations. You're comfortable building dashboards, analyzing trends, and presenting metrics to leadership
  • Business Focused Operator - You thrive while juggling multiple priorities while keeping major initiatives on track. You know when to zoom out for the big picture and when to roll up your sleeves for tactical delivery
  • Compelling Communicator - You are an influential communicator at all levels of the organization, translating complexity into clarity and inspiring action
  • Relationship Builder - You create purposeful collaboration and meaningful outcomes through your relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills
     

 

Great-to-haves
 

  • 3-5+ years experience with large-scale transformation/change management initiatives
  • 3-5+ years experience in a PMO or strategic roles supporting senior leaders
  • Knowledge of the Small to Medium Business (SMB) market
  • Knowledge of Canadian telecommunications market and regulatory environment
  • Experience managing telecommunications infrastructure and/or fibre build programs
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization (Google Cloud Platform, Looker Studio, etc.)
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
