As a Senior Program Manager in our Reliability Centre of Excellence, you’ll be a driving force in optimizing our operations and shaping strategic direction. You’ll collaborate with executives and stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute impactful programs that enhance service reliability and improve customer experience.

  • Drive strategic alignment: You’ll ensure your program plans and outcomes are tightly integrated with the overall reliability strategic plan, meeting and striving to exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Masterfully navigate complexity: You’ll expertly manage projects with conflicting priorities, risks and dependencies, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively: You’ll keep senior executives and stakeholders informed through clear and concise reporting, fostering transparency and collaboration.
  • Champion continuous improvement: You’ll proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, automate tasks, and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Lead and Inspire: You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, including business analysts and technology experts, to drive innovation and achieve outstanding results.
  • Foster a culture of feedback: You’ll establish strong feedback loops to ensure a balance between financial outcomes, customer experience, and team members success.


What you bring 

 

  • You have a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs in an Agile environment.
  • You have a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies and experience with sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • You possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • You have the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and evolving technological landscape.
  • You have solid Program Management experience for 3+ years in your most recent roles
  • You have expertise in financial management, budgeting, and risk assessment. Essential skills include strategic planning, financial analysis, understanding of regulatory compliance, and a proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
  • You hold a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Finance
  • You possess Program and/or Project Management Certification (ie. PMP designation)



Great-to-haves

 

  • Background and/or past work experience in telecommunications, data centre, network, corporate security, or systems operations areas
  • Experience using analytic and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Domo, Tableau, Jira, PowerPoint, Monday, etc.) and the ability to understand complex data as well as providing meaningful insight to others
  • MBA degree
  • PMP designation
  • ITIL certification
  • Agile/Scrum Master certification 
Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
