About the Opportunity:

 

Are you passionate about driving transformational change and delivering exceptional customer experiences? TELUS is seeking a strategic and influential Senior Program Manager to lead critical initiatives across our business. This high-visibility role combines strategic planning, stakeholder management, and executive leadership to shape the future of our customer excellence programs.

 

Impact You'll Make:

 

As a key member of our enablement team, you'll drive strategic initiatives that revolutionize how we support our customers and business operations including the use of AI. You'll have direct engagement with stakeholders across TELUS, growing your network of influence while delivering measurable business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

 

  • Develop and execute strategic programs from original concept to final implementation
  • Lead cross-functional programs that drive operational excellence
  • Translate high-level vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
  • Pressure test business cases and provide strategic recommendations

 

Executive Communication & Governance

 

  • Create compelling executive narratives and presentations
  • Lead strategic discussions at director and VP levels
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and updates

 

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

 

  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple business units
  • Coach and mentor leadership teams on strategic objectives
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and remove roadblocks
  • Drive alignment between different organizational units

 

Program Delivery & Excellence

 

  • Own end-to-end program management and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on program metrics and outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate risks across project streams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, or related field
  • 7+ years of program management experience in large-scale transformations
  • Proven track record of executive stakeholder management
  • Strong financial acumen and business case development experience
  • Excellence in strategic planning and execution
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
