The Fibre Networks team is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and driven individual with a proven track record to join our New Growth Markets (NGM) team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in executing and delivering complex implementation projects. In this role, you will collaborate across business units, and with key stakeholders to execute on initiatives with high complexity and/or business impact. Your expertise will help us drive innovation and continuous improvement in fiber delivery to our customers. You will be accountable for end-to-end project delivery, within a highly collaborative and capable group of team members.



What you’ll do

 

  • Accountable for end-to-end ownership of new NGM premises delivery
  • Track and move projects through various milestones  
  • Responsible to manage the relationship and deliverables for partner vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Review business escalations and solve for customer services
  • Analyze data, summarize and track information, and create reports and presentations
  • Establish new business processes and lead innovations to improve schedule cycle time, budget, reliability and engagement 

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience managing projects or leading cross functional teams
  • Experience managing large scale projects with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience dealing with ambiguous requirements and translating them into concrete project outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you can translate complex technical topics into easily understood concepts for our stakeholders and team members
  • Highly motivated, creative and self-sufficient with the ability to work successfully under pressure
  • Stakeholder management experience including senior executives is an asset

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • PMP designation preferred
  • Agile project management experience (Scrum/ Kanban environments) is an asset
  • Experience with software such as: JIRA, DOMO, FieldGlass, SAP, SpatialNet, CircuitVision
Salary Range:  $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
