The Penny Program leads TELUS's evolution by retiring our copper network to deliver strategic benefits for our organization and communities. Our work creates value through:

 

  • Redeveloping central offices for new real estate opportunities
  • Supporting sustainability through copper recycling and monetization
  • Reducing operational costs by eliminating dual network maintenance


As a Community Project Manager within our Customer Network and Planning (CNP) team, you'll be the driving force behind copper network retirement in your assigned communities. You will:

 

  • Manage the complete shutdown of copper networks across your portfolio
  • Coordinate multiple build and migration streams
  • Align stakeholders to achieve community transition goals
  • Track and map active circuits to appropriate migration paths


You'll be a "puzzle master," connecting the dots between various workstreams to ensure successful community transitions. Your detail-oriented approach and stakeholder management skills will be crucial in driving our network transformation forward.

What you will do

 

Community Management:

 

  • Track and manage active circuit transitions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Support strategic decision-making for customer transitions

 

Project Leadership:

 

  • Drive implementation of new tools and processes
  • Manage complex data and stakeholder relationships
  • Report progress to senior leadership
  • Support program scaling initiatives

What you will bring

 

  • 5+ years of project management experience in Telecommunications
  • Advance skills in system implementations
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Ability to handle complex data and ambiguous situations
  • Skills in creating and executing tactical plans
  • Strong communication abilities across various platforms

 

Great-to-have

 

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Expertise in capital management
  • Well-versed in TELUS systems



 

Salary Range:  $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
