Joining our TELUS Custom Security Systems (TCSS) team, you will play a critical role in leading our strategic initiatives focused on transforming and streamlining our field operations across Canada to deliver best in class customer experience. You will have the exciting opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams to bring our vision to reality.

Here’s how

 

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will:

 

  • Leverage your expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and apply project management best practices to deliver the best results and help evolve our PMO maturity
  • Manage complex strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform our TCSS Field Operations Team and enhance end to end customer journey
  • Leverage your passion for process improvements to implement solutions and optimize operational efficiency
  • Facilitate the required project meetings, including the kick-off, daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog management, sprint review, sprint retrospective, and project closing 
  • Leverage your expertise in change management to help the team embrace and adapt changes in a dynamic and value-driven environment
  • Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing as well as exceptional time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills 
  • Present findings and recommendations, facilitate workshops, set up governance structures, and negotiate or influence key decision makers

 

 

Qualifications

 

Your ideal profile includes:

 

  • 5 to 10 years of Agile project management experience with Advanced Certified ScrumMaster/DA Senior Scrum Master and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) including the proven ability to develop reports and presentations for executive level audience
  • Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and work effectively at all levels of management including cross functional teams and senior executives
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem solving skills with proven experience in managing multiple initiatives and changing priorities 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership to deliver the best outcomes in the most efficient and effective way with a customer first focus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, embrace change, adapt team strategy, and redirect focus to fit business strategy
  • Passion for building excellent relationships with stakeholders, developing strong networks of expertise and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Advanced knowledge of G Suite tools (Google Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.), Visio, and similar Microsoft tools

 

Great-to-haves:

 

  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster certification 
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification or equivalent certification in process improvement
  • Familiarity with SAP and Monday.com
  • University degree in Business or Technology and 8+ years of relevant experience in a complex and fast-paced environment 
  • Knowledge of Smart Home Security & Automation products and business model
  • Entrepreneurial approach to getting results delivered
