The TELUS PureFibre team is expanding our world-leading broadband network, connecting homes and businesses to Canada’s #1 internet for speed and reliability. We thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced culture and are relentlessly focused on achieving ambitious goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Manager, Contracts & Negotiations to join us. If you have a passion for structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements and thrive on managing deals from term sheet to final signature, you will be an incredible fit.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:

As the commercial architect for our key growth initiatives, you will be at the heart of how we build and expand our PureFibre program. You will support the development and execution of critical commercial agreements, ensuring they are not only financially sound but also structured to create maximum value and drive our core business objectives.

This role is for an individual who can navigate intricate negotiations and translate business strategy into clear, enforceable contract terms. Your expertise will directly enable the partnerships that fuel our growth.

Here's how:

  • Support Commercial Negotiations: You will support the end-to-end negotiation process for a portfolio of critical agreements. This includes drafting and redlining term sheets in partnership with legal teams, identifying commercial risks, and driving discussions to secure favourable terms for large-scale programs.
  • Ensure Commercial & Financial Viability: You will apply your strong financial acumen to interpret business cases and financial models, challenge assumptions, and ensure that negotiated commercial terms translate into beneficial financial outcomes for TELUS.
  • Act as the Commercial Hub for Key Deals: You will work in close collaboration with our internal corporate finance, corporate development, and legal teams, as well as with external advisors. You will be the central point of contact, responsible for aligning all stakeholders on agreement management, deal structures, and execution pathways.
  • Develop Innovative Commercial Frameworks: Go beyond standard templates to devise creative and effective commercial solutions, including structuring complex third-party deals. You will find new ways to create win-win scenarios with our partners and give TELUS a competitive edge.

  • You have a proven track record across the entire deal lifecycle, from initial concept and term sheet through to negotiation and final execution.
  • You are an expert negotiator with a sharp ability to draft and scrutinize commercial terms to manage risk and maximize value.
  • You are a natural collaborator, skilled at working with internal finance and legal teams, and confident in your ability to manage relationships with external advisors.
