The Strategy and Enablement team within the TELUS Health Chief Product Office (CPO) is responsible for developing and maintaining the product strategy across a suite of TELUS Health products in addition to managing the day-to-day operations and planning functions of the CPO.

Reporting to the Director of Product Strategy and Enablement, the Senior Strategy Manager will play a critical role in defining and executing the product vision and strategy. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, sales, engineering, and customer success, to ensure that our products meet market and customer needs, and drive business growth.

 

The ideal candidate is an analytical and strategic thinker with extensive product management expertise. Success in this role will require strong collaboration, an innovative mindset, and excellent teamwork and communication skills. 

What you’ll do

 

Product Vision and Strategy:

 

Through customer and market research, analyze market data to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 

Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to build robust product plans of record to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.


Scorecard Performance Metrics and Reporting:

 

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on product performance and strategic initiatives.


Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

 

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage creative problem-solving within the team.


Planning and Ad-Hoc:

 

Participate in the development of the Chief Product Officer (CPO) Strategy planning, capital planning, and budgeting processes.
Action ad-hoc executive-level strategic requests as needed.

What you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree would be an asset 
  • 5+ years of experience in product/business strategy, product management, or a related role - management consulting experience would be considered an asset 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams

Salary Range:  $94,000-$142,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
