As part of the Business Agile team, you will represent the TELUS brand and values and play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer growth and retention objectives delivering on high profile sales projects. Successful team members must be comfortable reaching out to business owners, working with TELUS Marketing and enablement partners, generating interest with campaigns built on business intelligence, qualifying leads and closing sales.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the profitability and customer experience of TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) customers functioning as a direct overlay to our existing territories and operating with a rolling targeted lead strategy. Your core objective is to migrate, grow, and retain while driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on each project and improve Likelihood to Recommend.
You’ll leverage the broad capabilities of TELUS – from connectivity and network backbone, physical security solutions, unified communication and mobility – utilizing the support of TELUS subject matter experts in the internal environment and Partners. We'll provide the coaches, strategy, training, resources, support and a fantastic culture where you will thrive and grow.
Here’s how you will be successful
- Driving discussions about product and solution value to win revenue generating units (RGU’s)
- Providing updates to senior leadership through regular and/or ad hoc performance reports, resourcing requirements, issues/resolution recommendations
- Provide feedback to marketing and sales regarding potential challenges in our business, opportunities, and competitive insights
- Effectively create, manage and close a funnel of opportunities and sales operations utilizing the power of Salesforce
Qualifications
Here's what you bring
- A related post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
- Analyze customer information, provide recommendations on possible improvements to products and services to retain customers, Prepare sales quotes, contracts; deliver customized presentation to clients
- Record details of each customer interaction and any actions taken
- Experience in B2B Sales and Customer Service roles, ability to negotiate with customers to obtain satisfaction for both TELUS & the customer
- Strong knowledge of Telecom and IT technology an asset
