As the Manager of the Program Management Office for Employer Platform & Systems Enablement, you will lead a team of dedicated program and project managers to drive the execution of our strategic platform and system roadmaps. Your leadership will be pivotal in advancing our digital and clinician-centric health initiatives, leveraging AI to enhance healthcare experiences, streamline system interactions, and ensure a polished, low-impact customer experience, ultimately pushing boundaries and maintaining TELUS's position as a world-class leader in healthcare delivery.

Leadership & Team Development

 

  • Direct and inspire a team of Project/Program Managers to achieve roadmap goals
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  • Present program/project updates and results to senior leadership
  • Facilitate the removal of roadblocks for programsActively engage with team members to attract and retain top talent

 

Strategic Vision & Innovation

 

  • Identify emerging opportunities in healthcare digital and clinical-centric roadmaps, maintaining TELUS Health's technological leadership
  • Ability to coach others on data-driven improvements to optimize platform and system project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Optimize financial performance (CAPEX and OPEX) of initiatives

 

Best Practices & Quality Assurance

 

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system enhancements into existing TELUS Health platforms and processes
  • Uphold TELUS Health's commitment to robust system development and implementation
  • Implement and maintain PMP practices across all projects
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to project dependencies to ensure continuous delivery
  • Track project performance and business benefits
  • Champion robust change management practices to ensure widespread system literacy and successful adoption across the organization

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Experience in Program Management: Proven expertise in managing resources within a Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Leadership and Team Building: Exceptional leadership skills, capable of inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage stakeholders at all levels by fostering a highly collaborative environment and communicating clearly. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with capital financial management
  • Delivery Experience: Demonstrated success in delivering product, systems, migrations and case management platforms

 

Great to have

 

  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including current challenges, emerging technologies, and experience handling sensitive healthcare data
  • Project Management Expertise: Ability to manage all aspects of high-risk/complexity projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborative and Adaptable: A quick learner capable of balancing strategic vision with meticulous detail
  • Certifications (asset): PMP, SAFe, ITIL, EPPM, Lean Six Sigma

 

 

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
