As a senior member of the management team at TELUS Health Care Centre located in Edmonton, you will be responsible for business operations, all while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

What you’ll do

 

  • Oversee, plan, lead, and manage day-to-day clinic operations
  • Lead the clinic team, supporting up to 12 direct reports, providing coaching, development, mentorship, and ongoing support
  • Manage performance, motivate team members to achieve objectives, and conduct performance appraisals
  • Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and development of team members (both clinical and administrative)
  • Support clinic budgeting and lead initiatives to meet revenue and expense targets
  • Continuously evaluate and review operational processes and procedures to identify and recommend improvements
  • Support the Regional director in the development and design of overall clinical care excellence, service, and market growth strategies
  • Work closely with operations and clinic leaders from across the country to implement policies, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain client services quality assurance (QA), ensuring the Care Centre standard of service is consistently delivered by monitoring reception, appointment booking, referral processes, correspondence, timely client communications, and client survey satisfaction
  • Act as the main point of contact for Physicians/Nurse Practitioners within the clinics to negotiate contracts, address administrative issues, and handle escalations
  • Support the sales team in client pursuits and ongoing account management
  • Foster an enthusiastic and positive culture within the region while ensuring that all team members are treated respectfully and given the opportunity to succeed
  • Protect health information and privacy, ensuring the team has updated information and training on TELUS and Care Centre policies
  • Support the vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives of the company through open and transparent communications
  • Monitor progress towards achieving the objectives and policies

What you bring


Education:

  • Post secondary in a health related field (i.e.,  Business Administration, Healthcare Administration,  Health Sciences) and/or clinical relevant experience, is an asset.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive management experience (relevant experience in healthcare, private clinics, hospitality, or other pertinent service industries preferred)
  • Experience in creating strategic plans with a proven track record in meeting targets
  • Outstanding negotiating skills in both internal and external settings

Salary Range:  $89,000-$133,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  0%
