As a Security Analyst II on the Identity Access Management Team, you will be a key player in the support of Role Based Access (RBAC) management and Access Provisioning. You will need to lean methodology of Access Management, Identity Management and Role Based Access Management technology. You will be responsible for foundational access provisioning, along with employee and contractor onboarding activities. This includes the support of Security Customer Care team activities to provide enhanced service for our internal TELUS customers. In addition, you are prime to ensure governance is implemented for access applied throughout employee lifecycle. This is achieved by supporting user audit campaigns and accurate provisioning of access.

 

You are a collaborative team member that will drive our Identity Access Management strategy forward. Your Innovative mindset, technical skills, and passion for growth will be critical in helping TELUS continue to grow within Identity Management practices. Your positive support through Security Customer Care functions to service access to all levels in TELUS. Your security and governance focused mindset will help the team provision user access accurately, to meet aggressive SLA’s. This role becomes the next generation for on-boarding practices.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Strong experience and understanding of Access Management and Identity Management Methodology
  • Knowledge of TELUS systems that support user access
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
  • Understanding and conformance to Change Management Best Practices
  • Be able to complete Government of Canada Security Clearance
  • Beneficial to be familiar with Access Management theory
  • Be able to provision user access in multiple applications
  • Be able to provision ID badges for on-boarding of new team members
  • Understanding parameters of user access provisioning and governance by which we work under
  • Be able to run audits for user access

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring 

 

  • Post-secondary Education an asset or equivalent experience
  • Security courses or accreditations
  • Build strong relationships with partners within the organization
  • Work with external vendors, to drive value and innovation
  • Excellent communication skills to work with TELUS Team members who have questions regarding access or to help resolve troubles
  • Attentive to all communication from our internal TELUS customers, through email, or call queues
  • Experience if documentation or technical writing. You will be required to document or create new processes
  • The ability to meet deadlines

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • CISSP Certification
  • Speak bilingual French
