We are actively seeking a highly dynamic, results-oriented, and intensely motivated Sr Sales Performance Manager to play an integral and pivotal role in significantly growing the overall Sales Performance and positive Culture within our dedicated Technician Field teams. As the successful candidate, you will be collaboratively working closely with our trusted field teams and supportive leaders, specialized sales support, and innovative channel marketing teams to dramatically drive robust sales performance, enhanced productivity, and exceptional quality through a comprehensive, customized training, hands-on coaching, and impactful field excellence program.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for driving TELUS acquisition success within the channel by actively monitoring performance data, gathering in-depth channel feedback, and then developing and prioritizing both short-term and long-term tactics. To achieve this acquisition excellence, you will:
Driving Sales Performance
- Develop essential tools and processes to empower field team managers in coaching and performance managing their teams.
- Guide and facilitate effective coaching practices among field teams and their managers.
- Create targeted training and learning strategies tailored to different performance segments and cohorts.
Analysis and Insights
- Conduct detailed review of sales and order reporting, analyzing data by technician, team, and region to identify outliers and trends.
- Leverage insights gained from other successful sales channels and teams, as well as broader industry best practices.
- Lead recurring feedback sessions with technician teams to understand on-the-ground successes and challenges.
Collaboration and Innovation
- Share critical channel feedback with relevant stakeholders across Marketing, Product & Services, Operations, and Support teams.
- Shape the future tools, processes, and experience for our field teams by delivering targeted and prioritized insight.
Qualifications
What you bring
- Communication & Coaching: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven proficiency in training facilitation and coaching.
- Sales Acumen: Extensive experience in sales, demonstrated by a history of significantly improving sales performance.
- Performance Drive: A passionate and relentless focus on driving performance in others through effective motivation, training, and coaching.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to analyze data to inform the development of targeted training programs and ultimately influence key performance indicators (KPIs) and results.
- Organizational & Time Management: Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
- Self-Management: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independent problem-solving with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility: Must be willing and able to travel as required.
Great-to-haves
- A University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of training and coaching experience
- 3+ years of consumer or retail sales experience
- Familiarity or experience with TELUS consumer products and solutions is an asset
