The successful candidate will join the TELUS Sustainability and Environment (TESI) team playing a pivotal role in advancing TELUS’ sustainability leadership through nature-based solutions. Working cross-functionally across the organization, you will leverage strategic partnerships, customer relationships, and market intelligence to drive TESI’s growth agenda. You are a seasoned business professional with strong sales, marketing, and strategic acumen, and you are passionate about building high-performing teams and expanding our offering of nature-based solutions both internally and externally.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Drive the development and execution of the overall TESI sales strategy, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities and accelerating revenue growth through both internal and external innovative sales approaches and partnerships (e.g.: procurement reciprocity agreement)
  • Embed TESI into internal sales programs (Smart Energy, TBS, TCS, Power of TELUS) and ensure alignment with TELUS
  • Premium sales opportunity (PSO) Methodology
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, establishing clear objectives, performance metrics, and coaching frameworks to support sustainable growth
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities by cultivating strategic partnerships, expanding into new markets, revising pricing strategies, expanding product offerings and creating innovative business models to strengthen TESI’s market position
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders—internally and externally—to build long-term, value-driven collaborations
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize partnership value and revenue potential
  • Develop, manage and support select marketing communications campaigns related to our environmental presence and sustainability solutions, driving brand awareness through earned, paid, and internal channels. Support influencer partnerships and campaigns
  • Develop and deliver compelling communications plans, press releases, articles, and key messaging that effectively tell TESI’s story to internal and external audiences. Be the voice of TESI on social media

 

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring

 

  • Sales and marketing leadership: Proven ability to design and implement sales strategies, drive team performance, and exceed growth targets, particularly within new and evolving markets
  • Strategic acumen: A strong critical thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into concrete plans and execute against them in a dynamic environment
  • Strategic growth & channel development: Experience in creating and executing channel strategies to expand market reach and deliver on sales objectives
  • Executive presence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and confidently advocate for bold, innovative ideas
  • High-level execution: Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a track record of balancing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and business development roles
  • A Master’s degree in Business or a related field

 

Great-to-Haves

 

  • Previous TELUS experience in sales and marketing
  • Demonstrated success in strategy development, execution, and communication within a large enterprise setting

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.

Salary Range:  $90,000-$134,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
