The B2B Systems team is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Technical Product Owner. We are a fast-paced team focused on delivering new exciting capabilities to our sales and support channels on a shared platform. We are responsible for supporting the delivery of new enablement projects impacting multiple sales & support channels and products.

As a Technical Product Owner on our Sales Force Platform, you will help take our customer journey and system experience to the next level. 


You thrive in a fast paced environment, have the ability to work independently, and are comfortable navigating competing priorities.  You are an effective communicator with the ability to work as part of a larger team to support our SalesForce platform.  You will collaborate with other teams from Sales, UX/UI Designers, Developers, Testers, Scrum Masters and business analysts to develop a deeper understanding of gaps and to identify opportunities to make improvements.  By managing and prioritizing a backlog of user stories you will drive simplified sales experiences for our sales reps and customers.

  • Be an advocate for our stakeholders to bring to life ideas that improve their experience within SalesForce & Odyssey  
  • Solve complex challenges with a team of passionate business owners, rolling up your sleeves to develop and execute creative solutions
  • Creating, refining and maintaining the product backlog,following changes in business priorities and according to business value
  • Support multiple cross-functional/community requirements, and leading the need to optimize the solution strategically across multiple business units while also building towards the longer-term strategy of converged digitization solutions

What you bring

 

  • Strong analytical mind
  • Technical skills in SalesForce / Odyssey and/or consumer wireline platforms
  • Proven track record delivering complex solutions, while making the case for intelligent trade-offs between delivery time/quality/scope and cost
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business; building trust and strong rapport across the business is fundamental
  • Strong problem solving skills and outstanding ability to use analytics to distill insights that allow you to make thoughtful, strategic recommendations
  • Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
  • A passion for operational efficiency and the ability to develop robust, repeatable processes

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with SalesForce development
  • Project Management and/or Product Owner Certification 
  • Experience with Service Design and Lean Start-up methodologies 
  • Experience in wireline 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and knowledge of JIRA, QA practices
  • Experience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery (lean, agile, and/or devops), with product management/ownership of customer facing products/applications
  • Strong track record of being able to develop relationships with a multitude of stakeholders/peers
  • University Degree in a related discipline
  • Technical or architectural experience with complex systems spanning internal, vendor, software, hardware

 

 

Salary Range:  $88,000-$132,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
