We are part of the TELUS Finance Operations Team. The Billing Analyst I owns the customer experience for a dedicated ADT by TELUS National Businesses from the "gathering of requirements" phase through to the “completion” of everything account management related. Leveraging the right teams in the customer journey to seek solutions to complex custom requirements of our National customers.

You are a strategic thinking with a knack for understanding debt and finances. You believe in understanding our customers' custom requirements and ensuring we have or will have processes to ensure we adapt our business to support our customers. You will partner with other parts of the customer journey to drive a successful experience to our customers. Here's how
- Identify and prioritize regular account follow up on assigned accounts by reviewing accounts receivable balances to reduce delinquency and bad debt.
- Build a strong relationship with a portfolio of National Business Clients
- Assessing the issues our clients are facing and providing options to assist them in bringing their accounts current
- Prepare and review customer account reconciliation including short payments, misapplied and/or unapplied cash/credits
- Coordinate with cash application team to ensure proper application of payments
- Communicate findings including future impacts to losses and proposed recommendations to management as required
- Develop an action plan to achieve defined objectives and metrics set out by direct manager
- Actively participant in weekly review meetings with management team

- Fluent in English and French
- Comfortable in learning and using advanced custom billing systems
- Ability to work independently in a timely and efficient manner
- Self starter with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines; strong time management skills
- Comfortable using Google Suite (Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Post secondary diploma / certification
- Previous telecommunication billing experience preferred (2 -3 years)
Great-to-haves
- Lean process improvement experience
- Familiarity with business debt recovery practices
- Intermediate to advance Excel skills
