The Senior Strategy Manager is a key driver in TELUS Health's mission to revolutionize healthcare through innovative technology. This pivotal role focuses on developing and executing business unit strategies, managing high-impact strategic initiatives, and spearheading the annual TELUS Health industry conference. The position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in private and public payor systems with a passion for connected care ecosystems.

By leveraging their strategic acumen and industry knowledge, the Senior Strategy Manager will play a crucial role in reinforcing TELUS Health's position as a market leader, driving value creation for our clients, and shaping the future of healthcare technology.
What You’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities, particularly in adjudication, health navigation and connected care ecosystems
- Provide strategic oversight and project management for the planning, organization, and execution of TELUS Health’s annual industry conference with a customer-first lens
- Lead internal and external stakeholders to curate relevant content, secure high-profile speakers in the health technology sector, oversee budget management and analyze post-conference metrics to continually improve impact and ROI
- In close collaboration with product, sales and marketing teams, develop and maintain Payor and Provider’s marco narrative in alignment with core priorities
- Implement and oversee robust program management practices to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and roadmaps across the team
- Present scenario-based analyses and recommendations confidently and independently to senior leadership through capable executive storytelling
- Develop and lead priority initiatives as they emerge with passion, expertise and influential leadership to drive stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes
- Manage relationships and strategic negotiations with external partners
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications

- The Sr Strategy Manager will be an accomplished professional within the Healthcare solutions industry with demonstrated success developing and executing high profile, transformational initiatives.
- The successful candidate will have deep expertise in private and public payor systems and a strong aptitude to translate vision and requirements between business and technology.
- In-depth knowledge of private and public healthcare solutions, particularly within pharmacy and health benefits management
- 7-10 years of experience in strategy, product management, or related roles to drive innovation, preferably in the SaaS health technology sector
- Advanced business data analysis and data-driven decision making skills for market analysis and trend interpretation in health technology
- Expert project and event management skills and agile mindset with a track record of delivering complex strategic initiatives in healthcare
- Ability to build compelling business cases with financial acumen and supported with polished communication (verbal/written/visual); clear and compelling presentation skills for a variety of audiences including executive level
- Engaging leadership and collaboration skills with ability to work independently across multi-disciplinary teams
- Advanced technical acumen and passion for disruptive technology to drive innovation and unlock new market opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology or related field preferably with Project Management accreditation
